iDiv-Mitglieder

Bereichert wird die iDiv-Forschung durch die Expertise der über 160 aktiven iDiv-Mitglieder innhalb des iDiv Konsortiums: Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU), Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Uni Jena), Universität Leipzig (UL), Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung (UFZ), Max-Planck-Institut für Biogeochemie (MPI BGC), Max-Planck-Institut für chemische Ökologie (MPI CE), Max-Planck-Institut für evolutionäre Anthropologie (MPI EVA), Leibniz-Institut DSMZ-Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH (DSMZ), Leibniz-Institut für Pflanzenbiochemie (IPB), Leibniz-Institut für Pflanzengenetik und Kulturpflanzenforschung (IPK) und Leibniz-Institut Senckenberg Museum für Naturkunde Görlitz (SMNG).

 


Ordentliche Mitglieder

Ordentliche Mitglieder von iDiv sind Wissenschaftler:innen, die einer der beteiligten Träger- oder Partnerinstitutionen angehören. Hierzu zählen auch:

  1. die im Rahmen von iDiv zur Leitung von Forschergruppen berufenen Hochschullehrer:innen (Kernprofessuren),
  2. die Leiter:innen der von iDiv eingerichteten selbstständigen Nachwuchsgruppen.

Als ordentliche Mitglieder können Wissenschaftler:innen aufgenommen werden, die in den beteiligten Institutionen (Träger- oder Partnerinstitutionen) beschäftigt sind, und:

  1. unabhängige/leitende Wissenschaftler:innen sind, die iDiv an ihren Institutionen vertreten können,
  2. wissenschaftliche Exzellenz nachgewiesen haben,
  3. international ausgewiesene Wissenschaftler:innen sind, die integrativ und kollaborativ arbeiten, über eine für iDiv relevante Expertise verfügen und zur Mission des iDiv beitragen.

Das Science Strategy Board beschließt im Einvernehmen mit dem iDiv-Kuratorium über Anträge auf Aufnahme weiterer ordentlicher Mitglieder. Gegenwärtig zählt iDiv 120 ordentliche Mitglieder (siehe unten).

Assoziierte Mitglieder

Als assoziierte Mitglieder können Wissenschaftler:innen aufgenommen werden, die in den beteiligten Institutionen tätig sind und besondere Expertisen in bestimmten iDiv-Forschungsfeldern besitzen und damit iDiv unterstützen können (z.B. Wissenschaftler:innen, die als Beratende für iDiv fungieren können oder herausragende Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen, die mit ihrer Arbeit substantiell zur Mission iDivs betragen). Sie können auf persönlichen Antrag oder auf Vorschlag von Mitgliedern des Science Strategy Boards aufgenommen werden. Das Science Strategy Board beschließt über Anträge auf Aufnahme assoziierter Mitgglieder. Gegenwärtig zählt das iDiv 48 assoziierte Mitglieder (siehe unten).

Ehrenmitglieder

Ehrenmitglieder sind definiert als Personen, die sich in besonderer Weise um iDiv verdient gemacht haben. Der Verdienst um iDiv kann entweder in wissenschaftlicher Hinsicht oder in der Unterstützung durch wissenschaftspolitische, strategische oder administrative Beiträge bestehen. Geehrt werden sollen auch Personen, die sich in Gesellschaft und Politik für die Belange der Biodiversitätsforschung generell und von iDiv im Besonderen verdient gemacht haben. Ehrenmitglieder werden vom Science Strategy Board auf Vorschlag der Mitgliederversammlung ernannt. Gegenwärtig hat iDiv fünf Ehrenmitglieder (siehe unten).

Membership Committee

Das Membership Committee besteht aus fünf ordentlichen Mitgliedern, welche die iDiv Institutionen repräsentieren, einer/m Professor/in der iDiv-Kerngruppen und dem Member Realtions Officer (MRO). Sie werden vom Science Strategy Board (SSB) für zwei Jahre eingesetzt.

Das Membership Committee ist für alle Belange der Mitgliedschaft am iDiv zuständig. Dies beinhaltet die Diskussion von Konzepten zur iDiv Mitgliedschaft ebenso wie die Koordination des Bewerbungsprozesses. Außerdem stehen wir als Ansprechpartner für alle an einer iDiv Mitgliedschaft Interessierten und die Local Committees zur Verfügung.

Antrag auf iDiv Mitgliedschaft

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die iDiv-Mitgliedschaft derzeit im Rahmen der Vorbereitung auf die neue Organisationsstruktur (voraussichtlicher Beginn im Oktober 2024) überarbeitet wird und wir daher derzeit keine neuen Anträge auf iDiv-Mitgliedschaft annehmen können. Anträge können voraussichtlich im zweiten oder dritten Quartal des Jahres wieder angenommen werden. In der Zwischenzeit wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Member Relations Officer (MRO) damit wir Sie informieren können, sobald wir wieder Anträge auf iDiv-Mitgliedschaft bearbeiten.
