Scientific Networks

The mission of the Scientific Networks unit is to connect iDiv scientists with each other and with the global scientific community.

The Scientific Networks unit facilitates communication among scientists within the iDiv consortium and connects iDiv scientists with other major research institutes in Germany and around the world. The team provides organisational support to scientists and manages a variety of internal processes, such as the iDiv Flexpool in which members initiate new integrative research projects.

Integration

Facilitation of communication among scientists within iDiv, with other major research institutes and guests as well as across members within the whole iDiv consortium; fostering of integration and iDiv identity, e.g. through internal workshops (‘How To’ / ‘iPerform’) and the iDiv Charter

Flexpool

Coordination of the iDiv Flexpool, an internal funding mechanism open to all full iDiv members and junior group leaders
