Molecular Evolutionary Ecology in Biodiversity
Das Deutsche Zentrum für integrative Biodiversitätszentrum (iDiv) führt vom 15.-19. August 2022 seine sechste Sommerschule für DoktorandInnen in Leipzig durch, diesmal zum Thema Molecular Evolutionary Ecology in Biodiversity. Sie können sich ab März 2022 bewerben.

Teachers
The lecturers and project leaders of this summer school includes the scientific staff of the Molecular Interaction Ecology, the Evolutionary Ecology and the Evolution & Adaptation research groups.

Date and venue
The summer school takes place from 15 to 19 August 2022 at the iDiv building in Leipzig, Germany. The site has good transport connections to the city centre and to the accommodation.
The address is Puschstr. 4, 04103 Leipzig/Germany.

Costs
The total cost of the course is EUR 150. This covers the costs of teaching and materials, accommodation, coffee breaks and lunch, two dinners and the cultural programme. All participants will be provided a single room in a two-room apartment in the city center (Apartment Central) from 14-20 August (6 nights). In addition, 2-4 fellowships are available that will cover the registration fee as well as travel costs to Leipzig. These fellowships are for PhD students from regions that are often underrepresented in science (see list here).
