Ehrenmitglieder

Ehrenmitglieder sind definiert als Personen, die sich in besonderer Weise um iDiv verdient gemacht haben. Der Verdienst um iDiv kann entweder in wissenschaftlicher Hinsicht oder in der Unterstützung durch wissenschaftspolitische, strategische oder administrative Beiträge bestehen. Geehrt werden sollen auch Personen, die sich in Gesellschaft und Politik für die Belange der Biodiversitätsforschung generell und von iDiv im Besonderen verdient gemacht haben. Ehrenmitglieder werden vom Science Strategy Board auf Vorschlag der Mitgliederversammlung ernannt. Gegenwärtig hat iDiv fünf Ehrenmitglieder (siehe unten).

Mitgliedschaft

Mitgliedsantrag

Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler, die aktiv an der Biodiversitätsforschung bei iDiv beteiligt sind, können die Mitgliedschaft bei iDiv e.V. beantragen (mit Stimmrecht gemäß § 7 Abs. 4 der Satzung des iDiv e.V.), wodurch sie die Möglichkeit erhalten, die Ressourcen von iDiv zu nutzen. Neben Beiträgen zur Biodiversitätsforschung und zur Erfüllung des iDiv-Auftrags wird von den Mitgliedern erwartet, dass sie sich an der Leitung von iDiv beteiligen (abhängig von ihrem beruflichen Status). Alle Anträge müssen schriftlich eingereicht werden und werden vom iDiv-Vorstand entschieden.
