Julia Rouet-Leduc

Research interest
I am especially interested in inter- and transdisciplinary research on rewilding, and human-nature relations in nature conservation. In my project GrazeLife, I am exploring the multiple ecosystem services provided by different types of grazing in a European context. While looking at all types of grazing management (intensive, pastoral, etc.), I focus especially on wild grazing and rewilding. My research aims at directly informing policy making, and especially the Common Agricultural Policy. To achieve that I am combining natural and social sciences methods and looking at different types of grazing management through 8 case studies in Europe, part of the Rewilding Europe network, which is also coordinating the project.
