Clear writing is not a luxury — it is a professional skill that shapes how a researcher’s work is understood, evaluated, and remembered.

This hands‑on workshop helps master’s students and postdocs move beyond jargon and dense sentences toward writing that is clear, compelling, and effective.

Throughout the day, participants will explore the foundations of plain writing, learn how to strip away unnecessary complexity, and practice techniques for making their ideas easy to follow.

The workshop also introduces storytelling as a tool for researchers: how to frame a project as a narrative, create curiosity, and highlight the significance of their work without sacrificing rigor.

The session blends short lectures with practical exercises, peer feedback, and guided revision. Participants will work directly with their own writing — abstracts, introductions, lay summaries, or project descriptions — and leave with clearer, stronger versions of their texts.

This workshop is designed for researchers who want their writing to be understood quickly, remembered easily, and taken seriously.
