Contents
The training starts with a lecture and then focuses on repeated practice in front of the camera, including feedback rounds. Participants receive a video file of their performance.
The course content in detail:
- How journalists work
- What journalists want and how to work with them
- Typical situations and questions
- How to get your point across
- Learn what you are good at and bad at
- Practice: Speak, analyse, improve
Participants will learn how to explain their science in plain language (accurate, brief, clear). They learn how to make a strong impression in interviews and other situations and how to deal with journalists.
There is a maximum of six participants.
