Call for iDiv ‘Seed Fund’ proposals (2024-2025)

At a glance:

The iDiv 'Seed Fund' supports proposals that

  1. aim to attract additional funding from third parties with a focus on coordinated research programs, or
  2. significantly increase the visibility of iDiv.

In addition, proposals have to contribute to iDiv’s strategic mission

  • To understand the biodiversity of life on Earth in its complexity, functions, and interactions with people
  • To develop scientific knowledge for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, together with the international scientific community and society
  • To advance the field of integrative biodiversity research, through scholarly contributions, education, capacity building, and the promotion of early career researchers

 

All full iDiv members are eligible to apply, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis starting September 09, 2024 through February 28, 2025 (conditional on the availability of funds). More details (criteria, evaluation) can be found in the PDF document below. Proposals need to be submitted to the Scientific Networks Unit (flexpool@idiv.de) as a single PDF-file (please use the template provided below).
