IPBES author meeting at iDiv
From 13 to 17 March a team of nearly 40 expert authors of the Global Assessment (GA) of IPBES met at iDiv to further develop the content of chapter 2, which deals with the state and developments of nature, drivers of change and nature's contribution to people (NCPs). The team members came from more than 20 countries, representing all continents, and included two of the three co-chairs of the GA: Sandra Diaz (Argentina) and Josef Settele (UFZ/iDiv). The meeting also received financial and organisational support from iDiv, the German Ministry of the Environment (BMUB) and the UFZ.
