Now OPEN: Joint International Synthesis Call on Interactions between Biodiversity and Climate Change
Given the global nature of the tightly linked climate and biodiversity crises, several synthesis centres around the world have joined forces to synthesize knowledge linking the biodiversity and climate change crises. This call for proposals is for working groups that will commence in 2026. Please refer to the documents below for a detailed description of the objectives and rules of this call. Please note that funding is limited to two projects and is not yet 100% guaranteed, as it is subject to final approval of iDiv funding (which is expected to be granted in the first half of 2025).

Decisions for 12th sDiv Call
Within the latest call, sDiv has received 11 pre-proposals for early career working groups and 22 pre-proposals for SynFlex projects. 3 applicants for early career working groups as well as 10 applicants for SynFlex projects received a positive evaluation of their pre-proposal and were invited to hand in a full proposal.
After intensive discussions of the internal and external reviews of proposals of very high scientific quality, the sDiv Evaluation Board has decided to support 1 early career working groups, 8 SynFlex projects.
