Nico Eisenhauer is new editor-in-chief of journal Soil Organisms
Nico Eisenhauer (iDiv/UL) is new editor-in-chief of the open access journal Soil Organisms, together with Willi Xylander (Senckenberg). The journal of Senckenberg Museum of Natural History Görlitz offers soil biodiversity researchers worldwide a forum for the exchange of soil biological concepts and new discoveries. Moreover, it follows an exceptionally fair approach: the journal is open access and free of publication charges. Authors are also encouraged to publish neutral effects in order to counteract the usual publication bias. Further fairness aspects are: double-blind reviews and final formatting only after acceptance of the paper. Soil Organisms is published with three volumes per year. The recent issue Volume 91 came out in August.
