Highly cited: Seven iDiv members belong to the world’s most influential scientific minds

The new issue of the "Highly Cited Researchers" lists seven iDiv members: Prof Ian T. Baldwin (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, Jena),
Prof Jonathan Gershenzon (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, Jena),
Prof Stan Harpole (core group Prof at iDiv, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) & Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU)),
Prof Helmut Hillebrand (Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg),
Prof Ingolf Kühn (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) & Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU)),
Prof Markus Reichstein (Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, Jena) and
Prof Matthias Rillig (FU Berlin). For the ranking, more than 3,400 researchers from 21 natural sciences and social sciences have been selected by Clarivate Analytics (formerly part of Thomson Reuters) based on the number of the most frequently cited publications published between January 2005 and December 2015 over a period of 11 years. Only the top 1 percent of the most cited publications per year and subject area of the Web of Science were considered.
