Frankfurt/Görlitz. Senckenberg scientists have launched an online database for the simple identification of plants in Germany. The open access portal will help to identify difficult fern and flowering plants and to promote the exploration of the flora. An article on the database was recently published in the journal "Plant Systematics and Evolution". Involved was also iDiv member Dr. Karsten Wesche from the Senckenberg Museum für Naturkunde Görlitz. This text is only available in German.
