The sDiv postdoc Carten Meyer is the winner of a travel grant amounting to 1.000€ at the iDiv annual conference. To push his research forward and intensify his knowledge he can use this money to participate at any conference suitable for his project. He held the talk entitled „Assessing biodiversity data bias and then what? Towards making best-possible use of limited data sources” during the Biodiversity Patterns session. Every participant at the conference was allowed to vote for talks, and there were criteria related to both the content and the presentation style. Justifications voting for Carsten sounded like “Broadly useful, very nicely presented” or “Deep understanding of his topic”. Congratulations!
