The sPlot project is developed and guided by two types of meetings: the workshops and the ordinary meetings.

The workshops are immersive experiences in which a group of scientists get together for a couple of days talking about ideas for the development of the consortium as well as doing research with sPlot data.

The ordinary meetings are those when members of the consortium reunite for a short meeting lead by the sPlot core team, composed by the sPlot coordinator and the Steering Committee. In these meetings members have a an update on the project, suggest improvements for its development, discuss resarch ideas and start new collaborative efforts.

Workshops

The goals and guidelines of the sPlot Consortium were established in a first workshop in 2013 and further developed in two subsequent ones in 2014 and 2016 at the iDiv headquarters in Leipzig, Germany.
