The Department of Environmental Sociology is based at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and studies environmental change from social sciences perspectives – social drivers, processes, and outcomes of such change – and therewith is dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing academic, policy, and practical societal challenges of our time.
