This course provides an introduction to grant writing and third-party funding, guiding participants through key aspects such as structuring a proposal, defining research questions, and developing a financial plan. The course is divided into two sessions. The first session will be offered online, while the second session will take place in person. Between the two sessions, participants will have the opportunity to work on their own third-party funding proposal, which will receive individual feedback during the in-person workshop.

Dr Alexandra Wiebke
Dr Alexandra Wiebke is an experienced expert in grant writing with a strong background in supporting researchers in securing third-party funding. She currently works at Paderborn University as the head of the Scientific Career Development Office, where she helps guide researchers through the process of crafting competitive funding applications.
