Diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) are essential elements of the iDiv philosophy. Therefore, iDiv pursues a diverse, collaborative, and inclusive iDiv community where individuals from different backgrounds, genders, cultures, and personal circumstances are welcomed, supported to thrive, empowered to contribute, and truly valued. The DEI committee takes care of implementing these goals.

Furthermore, the iDiv Code of Conduct aims at promoting ethical behaviour and best practices in order to avoid scientific misconduct and any form of bullying, harassment or discrimination. It applies to all members, doctoral researchers, scientific and non-scientific employees and visitors of iDiv.
