The iDiv Mentoring Pool provides personalized advice and support through one-on-one mentoring (mentor-mentee tandems) on topics related to career development. It supports iDiv doctoral, postdoctoral, and senior researchers with career goals in both academic and non-academic fields.

Dr Benjamin Rosenbaum is a computational ecologist and statistical modeler with more than 10 year experience in iDiv and offers statistical consulting for the whole iDiv community. Benjamin can assist with:

• Choosing the right methods for your research topic
• Implementing statistical models in R
• Analysis of model output
• Formulation of statistical methods & results in manuscripts
• Stats issues in the peer review process

In the event of problems during their doctorate, such as conflicts with their supervisor, yDiv doctoral researchers can contact the iDiv counsellors in confidence. The counsellors can offer advice, refer them to other services or mediate between the parties in the event of conflicts.
