iDiv Funding – Start Fund

General rules

• Eligible to apply: All iDiv Members employed at a research institution in Central Germany and who have obtained their doctorates less than six years ago are eligible to apply.
• Limitation: Only one proposal as main PI may be submitted.
• Funding of consumables: up to 10,0000 euros per project (e.g., student or research assistants, travel costs, consumables, small equipment, contract of services).
• Please use the iDiv Start Fund und template for submission (available below).

Important dates 

• Proposal deadline: 11 May 2026
• Earliest project start: June 2026
