Are you interested in using sPlot data for your research?

According to the sPlot rules, sPlot data is available for members of the consortium upon the submission of a research proposal. Each proposal is evaluated by the sPlot Steering Committee regarding its scope and overlap with ongoing projects. To guarantee data from individual datasets won’t be used to address questions at the local scale, every sPlot project should be done at the continental/global scale.

In case you are not a member of sPlot but would like to use the database for your research, I suggest you team with at least one sPlot member to submit a research proposal. This person will be the one responsible for submitting the proposal and assuring sPlot rules are to be followed.

Please contact sPlot coordinator Gabriella Damasceno if you remain with doubts after reading the sPlot rules.
