Speakers:
Tatiane Micheletti, Lisa Hildebrand & Laura Quintero from the BirdFutures team within the TripleBird Project (UFZ & iDiv)
The goals of this colloquium are threefold: (i) to enable a deeper view on the modeling work within
the TripleBird project, a new large project aiming at the provision of predictive models, data products,
and co-designed intervention scenarios for bending the curve of biodiversity loss, with birds as important
indicator group, (ii) to introduce and welcome the BirdFuture Team, a Junior Research Group (UFZ & iDiv) that is responsible for the modeling work in TripleBird, and (iii) to facilitate exchange on modeling strategies and the integration of biodiversity aspects, the development of data products such as monitors and digital twins, or the development of intervention scenarios through co-design processes as key contributions to planetary solutions.
After the colloquium talk, all on-site participants have the opportunity to meet the speakers
at three stations for in-depth discussions of specific aspects.
