This course offers you an overview about the application of metabolomics in ecological and biodiversity research. We will explore the tools and approaches that are used to obtain, process and analyse metabolomics data.

The course programme will consist of lectures, computer-based practical sessions with test data sets, group discussions, and hands-on laboratory exercises. The course will partially take place on green houses/botanical garden and the laboratories of the Molecular Interaction Ecology group.

After completing the course, you will have the necessary skills to design a metabolomics experiment and apply bioinformatics software to carry out the basic steps of data analysis.
