Leipzig. Protecting biodiversity is one of the major challenges of our time. Cities are becoming increasingly into the focus of attention. In cities, diverse green areas offer habitats and foods for animals, in addition to cooling in the summer. iDiv, the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research, has therefore launched the exhibition "Garten findet Stadt". In the Botanical Garden of Leipzig University, amateur gardeners receive practical tips on how to conserve resources and contribute to biodiversity. The exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday, 15 June.
