Research interests

My main research activities focus on understanding and predicting the impacts of environmental change (e.g. climate, land use) on ecosystems and biodiversity across a range of spatial and temporal scales, combining and analyzing structured and unstructured biodiversity observation data to improve our understanding of biodiversity dynamics in space and time, using the conceptual ideas and methodological approaches of biogeography to address biodiversity conservation issues, understanding habitat selection patterns and processes in human-modified environments.
