iDiv Annual Conference 2017
19–20 September 2017
Dear iDiv scientists
We are pleased to invite you to the third iDiv Annual Conference, which will be held on the 19 and 20 September 2017 in Leipzig. This year’s conference will be combined with the General Member Assembly (GMA), as requested by many members.
The iDiv Annual Conference is the most important iDiv event that brings experienced and young iDiv scientists together. The aim is to provide an interactive forum for scientific exchange and an attractive platform for establishing new contacts and collaborations within the iDiv consortium.
Jordi Bascompte will kick off the event by presenting a keynote talk about complex network analyses that unite experimentalists and theoreticians. To facilitate networking, multiple other interaction formats will be offered. Traditional talks and poster sessions will be complemented by demonstrations and brainstorming sessions that allow creativity and scientific excellence to meet. Early-career scientists are encouraged to design ignite sessions (‘speed-talks’) that create more entertaining and interactive platform for knowledge exchange, and everybody is welcome to join this session. Based on submissions, these interactive formats will be grouped into sessions to enable networking among the iDiv colleagues and emphasize the highly interdisciplinary spirit of iDiv.
Registration and abstract submission are already closed.
