The yDiv PhD programme “in a nutshell”:
- Curriculum: completing 12 credit points
- Supervision: regular meetings with your PhD Advisory Committee (PAC) to monitor progress, help prioritize and value your work
- Research Stay: opportunity to stay abroad for up to three months
Being part of yDiv also means:
- Participation in the yDiv retreat and the iDiv Annual Conference
- Building yourself a professional network via the iDiv consortium and its top-level collaborators and visitors
- Access to a variety of courses, events and activities at the graduate academies of the consortium universities, as well as the HIGRADE graduate school of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ
- Participating in the workshops of the synthesis centre sDiv
- Developing your skills in helping to organize a conference, retreat etc. at iDiv
