Interdisciplinary teams and interdisciplinary cooperation are often exciting and sometimes challenging. The workshop gives you realistic approaches to these situations. In particular, we will discuss and practice ways of communication to understand each other. We have a look at some tools of project management and cooperation that are often of help in interdisciplinary contexts.
At the same time, we will also highlight the limits which may arise when researchers collaborate across disciplinary boundaries.
- understand different structures of thinking in different research areas
- develop a positive, open, and appreciative way of communication in interdisciplinary situations
- know how certain tools of project management are helpful for interdisciplinary teams
- see and understand limits of interdisciplinary cooperation
