I am a geospatial ecology and remote sensing engineer, with soil science and land resource management background. During my PhD research I focused on investigate the coupling effects of changing land use and climate on vegetation dynamics through; assessing the long-term trends in vegetation with analyze its spatial and temporal distribution and examine the dynamic changes in vegetation patterns.
My recent work at the iDiv focuses on data mining and collection of data on biodiversity and land use change as well as development of a collaborative network with some underrepresented regions in the global databases.
