Gracia Andrea Pacheco

Doctoral Researcher

Research interests

I’m a doctoral researcher broadly interested social-ecological systems. More specifically, I’m interested in the governance systems that interact with the natural environment (oftentimes with mixed effects). I’m currently investigating the relationship between land tenure and environmental sustainability, and am particularly invested in finding patterns across the tropics.
In the past, I have also worked with governance of climate change mitigation mechanisms (Monitoring, reporting, and verification), as well as risk governance in drought contexts.
