Anthropogenic climate change and land-use intensification are expected to have strong impacts on the structure of ecological communities and ecosystem processes associated with them. In my PhD project I study the combined effects of climate change and land-use intensification on aboveground invertebrate communities. More specifically, I am working in the Global Change Experimental Facility (GCEF) to investigate how climate change and land-use interactively affect (1) community composition, (2) body-size structure and (3) trophic interactions of aboveground-invertebrate communities in an experimental grassland system.
