Leadership needs to embody both professional competencies and antennas for team dynamics, to recognize strengths of team members and be aware of areas where support is needed. Successful communication is the basis of nurturing and thriving teamwork. Skills like empathic and unbiased listening alongside structured and clear communication are essential ingredients for process-centered performances.

Horses are sensible to body language and the modes of vocal articulation. The interaction between animal and human mirrors the qualities of the aforementioned skills and creates a space in which participants communicate, lead and cooperate with their team members. Horses give direct responses to the performances of the participants who then can integrate the gained insights into their daily interaction with superiors, colleagues and subordinate project partners. This course is suitable for doctoral students interested in leadership- and personality training with an experimental character.

Course participants will be provided with snacks and lunch. Furthermore, course material will be distributed and iDiv cars can be used to reach the location. The session will be filmed and the video is going to be forwarded to each attendee.
