Analysen und Simulationen dieser \u00f6kologischen Netzwerkmodelle erm\u00f6glichen die Beantwortung unserer wichtigsten Fragen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Welche Auswirkungen haben Umweltver\u00e4nderungen, Klimawandel und Lebensraumfragmentierung auf die Struktur, Stabilit\u00e4t und Funktionsweise \u00f6kologischer Netzwerke?<\/li>\n<li>Welche Folgen hat der Verlust von Arten f\u00fcr das Funktionieren \u00f6kologischer Netzwerke und die biogeochemischen N\u00e4hrstoffkreisl\u00e4ufe?<\/li>\n<li>Wie k\u00f6nnen wir von den Strukturen, der Dynamik und der Funktionsweise lokaler Gemeinschaften auf die Ebene von Landschaften mit mobilen Arten \u00fcbergehen?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Lebensgemeinschaften nat\u00fcrlicher \u00d6kosysteme bestehen aus Tieren und Pflanzen, die durch ihre Nahrungsinteraktionen gekoppelt werden. Diese Interaktionen verbinden alle Arten von lokalen Lebensgemeinschaften zu komplexen Nahrungsnetzen, die unseren ersten Forschungsschwerpunkt bilden: <strong>R\u00e4uber-Beute-Interaktionen und trophische Netzwerke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Diese lokalen Lebensgemeinschaften bewohnen Habitat-Flecken, die in einer weniger bewohnbaren Landschaftmatrix liegen. Die Bewegung von Individuen zwischen diesen Habitat-Flecken verbindet diese lokalen Lebensgemeinschaften zu Meta-Lebensgemeinschaften auf r\u00e4umlichen Netzwerken, die unseren zweiten Forschungsschwerpunkt bilden: <strong>Bewegung, Meta-Lebensgemeinschaften und r\u00e4umliche Netzwerke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Forschungsbereiche werden durch die generelle Anwendung von allometrischen Skalierungsmodellen verbunden. Diese Modelle beschreiben Beziehungen zwischen der K\u00f6rpermasse eines Individuums und trophischen Prozessen (z.B. Metabolismus, Wachstum, maximaler Fra\u00df) oder Bewegungscharakteristika (z.B. maximale Geschwindigkeit, Dispersaldistanzen). Die Vorhersagen der Modelle werden empirisch getestet durch: <strong>Experimentelle Meta-Lebensgemeinschaften und mikrobielle Netzwerke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n
