While these structures are an inherent part of academic systems, they can also create vulnerabilities, influence professional conduct, and affect individual well-being.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This workshop explores how power operates within academic environments and how power dynamics can impact research cultures, working relationships, and organizational practices. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of mechanisms of influence and dependence, learn strategies for recognizing and addressing power imbalances, and reflect on their own roles and responsibilities within academic institutions. The workshop also introduces the role of compliance frameworks in fostering a fair, respectful, and responsible research environment. Her expertise is further informed by a two-semester certificate program on <em>Recognizing and Preventing Abuse of Power<\/em> (<em>Machtmissbrauch erkennen und verhindern<\/em>) at the Julius-Maximilians-University of W\u00fcrzburg.<\/p>\n<p>Her motivation for offering this workshop comes from a long-standing interest in social dynamics within organizations and from firsthand experience with the often subtle forms of power and dependency that shape academic life. She is passionate about supporting both institutional culture change and the empowerment of individuals affected by power imbalances.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <\/div>\n
