Dr. Roberto Rozzi

Research interests

  1. Evolution and extinction of insular mammals from Mediterranean, Asian, and American islands;
  2. Plio-Pleistocene mammal palaeoecology, taxonomy, and biochronology (with emphasis on Bovidae);
  3. Conservation palaeobiology: the application of theories and analytical tools of palaeontology to the solution of problems concerning the conservation of endangered species (especially insular mammals);
  4. Management and enhancement of natural history collections.
