I am an environmental engineer, and joined MAS lab in 2018 to contribute to the LUCKINet program [link]. My focus within LUCKINet is on mobilizing subnational census statistics on cropping, grazing and forestry for different countries. My academic interests focus on the role of public policies and other governance mechanisms in determining patterns of land-use changes in socially and environmentally vulnerable areas. I am currently doing my Master thesis in the MAS lab, in which I investigate how trade-offs between biodiversity conservation, food security and economic development evolve over time and manifest across different scales of analysis.
